Students were introduced to today’s information technology career opportunities, the growing importance of technology in society, and the wide range of jobs available across various digital domains.

During the launch session, Mr. Tata Thierry, a computer engineer and facilitator, guided students through different IT career paths, including graphic design, cybersecurity, software engineering, web design, digital marketing, networking, computer maintenance, cloud computing, and cinematography, among others. A total of 38 students participated in the orientation, comprising 33 girls and 5 boys. During interactive exchanges, students expressed excitement and readiness to begin practical training sessions in the coming weeks.
TI4Dev continues to expand its outreach within schools in Buea, currently partnering with secondary institutions to provide career orientation and introductory exposure to various technology programs. Through initiatives like Champion of Tech, the organization seeks to equip young learners with practical skills and awareness necessary to thrive in the fast-evolving digital economy.
